About our partnership
In April, 2018, CenterPoint Energy and Vectren announced a definitive merger agreement to form a leading energy delivery, infrastructure and services company serving more than 7 million customers across the United States. This agreement took effect early this year, which means Vectren and its subsidiaries are now part of the CenterPoint Energy family of companies.

Common questions
- What changes will I see?

Not much will immediately change because of the merger. For the foreseeable future, you will still see "Vectren" trucks on the road, Vectren workers safely working in the community and Vectren employees volunteering at events. Here's a list of what changes you may encounter due to the merger:

New logo
We've updated our logo slightly to reflect that Vectren is now part of the CenterPoint Energy family; however, you may also see our old logo while we transition.

New name
For the most part, we will still be called "Vectren" or "Vectren Energy Delivery", but sometimes we may call ourselves "Vectren, a CenterPoint Energy Company."

New faces
You may see and hear new people representing Vectren and/or CenterPoint Energy on the news and quoted in newspaper articles.
- Is there anything I should do differently?

There is nothing that you need to do differently as a customer because of our merger.
Managing your account online: There are no changes to the way you login to your account via Vectren.com, and the website will continue to operate for the foreseeable future. With your Vectren.com profile, you can still pay your bill, enroll your account in plans and options, report power outages and modify your service. The website is still accessible at http://www.yuweng42.icu, so there is no need to delete or modify any browser bookmarks you may have.Paying bills: The variety of ways in which you pay your bill today - whether by mail, online, at a pay site or kiosk or through automated bank drafts - are unchanged. Besides a new logo, your bill will look the same as it did before the partnership took effect.Contacting a representative: To speak with a representative, you can still call 1-800-227-1376.Requesting and managing service: Your service will continue uninterrupted. If you want to change your service, you can still do so via Vectren.com or by contacting a representative.
As we continue forward with our partnership, we will let you know of any changes to the ways in which you interact with Vectren well before they occur.
